Behind-the-scenes in the Parisian “Theatre National de Chaillot”: The preparations for the SS14 collection of the avant-garde french fashion house Maison Martin Margiela.

Dries Van Noten’s mastery of contradictory styles was on full view in the Belgian fashion house’s spring-summer 2014 collection in Paris. I was invited to capture behind-the-scenes impressions from the belgian fashion designers runway show during Fashion Week on September 25, 2013.

I was shooting a little portrait of Bernhard Wilhelm with the stylist Edda Gudmundsdottir at Bernhard´s studio in Paris during SS14 PFW.

Maison Martin Margiela’s Artisanal runway show in Paris, as each of the 19 models was ornamented with a face-obscuring mask with tiny floral detailing mosaic. I documented the nameless beauties and fascinating fairytale backstage.
